When it comes to reaching your optimum health finding balance in your fitness routine is a must. Your body needs a mix of cardio, strength, and recovery to reach its peak. This is the idea behind North Corner Studios whole mind/whole body concept.
If you cut 1-2 of these sections out of your fitness routine, you will start to notice an imbalance. Some things you may notice if you are overtraining may include:
- An altered resting heart rate
- Extended muscle soreness
- Personality changes
- Frequent illness
- Increased injury
- Halted progress
However, if you stick to a routine that includes a healthy balance of cardio, strength, and recovery you will start to see and feel progress. When we were developing the classes we wanted to offer at NCS, we had this concept of balance in mind. We wanted to offer you all of the tools that you need to reach your goals and obtain optimum health.
Now that we have been open for a few weeks, our current members have had a chance to try all of our formats and we’re receiving rave reviews! Let’s break down what we have to offer …
Bootcamp classes – I know when you hear Bootcamp class you think strength and although that is true, it’s not solely true. Any time you elevate your heart rate you are engaging in cardio activity. Our classes are different every day which is exactly what the body needs to continue to change and be challenged.
