We announced on our members Facebook page that we are going to hold a video roundtable session with the coaches of North Corner Studios. In this roundtable session, you’ll have the opportunity to have all of your questions answered. I thought this would be a great opportunity to get to know the coaches of North Corner Studios.
Meet Jeff Onorato – Founder and Managing Partner
Hi, my name is Jeff Onorato and I am the founder and managing partner of North Corner Studios. I was born in Flagstaff, AZ, went to school at Arizona State and then spent app 4.5 years in Palm Harbor, FL. Currently, I am a resident of Lake Stevens, WA.
I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. As well as being an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I also have specialty certifications in group x and TRX. My fitness career started as a group fitness instructor teaching Insanity and P90X Live from about 2013 to 2016. After my time as a group x instructor, I moved on to manage and train for a studio called Embody Health (October 2015 to July 2016). Next, I became the manager and trainer for Orangetheory Fitness Mill Creek (July 2016 to September 2017). I have also owned a mobile DJ service company, SG Mobile DJ Service, since 2010.
Throughout my career, I dreamed of having a platform that would allow me to utilize my management and entrepreneurial spirit. I also wanted to combine my love for fitness and group training. When this opportunity presented itself, it was clear to me that this was my opportunity to thrive. My goal in creating and developing NCS is to have a successful business that allows freedom and flexibility for both my family and staff. It’s important to me that we never lose sight of our key focus, whole mind/whole body empowerment. I vision was to establish a community that promotes empowerment on all levels. NCS has now become this dream.
Meet Leah Lauritzen – Master Trainer
Hi, my name is Leah Lauritzen and I am the Master Trainer at NCS.
I started in the fitness industry in 2012 as a Zumba Instructor. I grew up with a love for movement and a passion for people. I’ve taught various fitness formats including Zumba, Barre, Sculpt, Bootcamp, Dance, TRX, and Strength Training. I was Head Trainer at Orangetheory Fitness and am certified in Group EX, Red Hot Dance, Barre, TRX and Personal Training.
My goals are to inspire trainers and members to think stronger and be the best versions of themselves. I believe a smile and a hug go a long way! If you trust and believe in your body, you will succeed at anything you put your mind to.
Meet Curtis King – Chief Operating Officer
Hi, my name is Curtis King and I am the Chief Operating Officer at NCS.
I received my certification from American Council on Exercise and TRX Suspension Training. My background in Mixed Martial Arts disciplines includes Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Tae Kwon-do, Krav-Maga and have my primary discipline in Muay-Thai and am a student of Kyo Shi Pon Inthathirath of Dragon Bushido Dojo.
I’m honored to be a part of a group that shared the same direction, which was to help change lives through similar beliefs and convictions. We all had a sincere passion for health, fitness, and complete mind/body wellness. I plan to continue to practice and share this with others because it can be life-saving.
Because of chronic types of illnesses, and diseases that can be fatal, and for my family have been, I further pledge, with humility, and gratitude, to continue my mental, physical, spiritual and educational growth to the highest level, and to lead by example, and share what I have and will continue to learn with others.
I like to consider my style of coaching to be high-powered, supportive, and fun, mixed with great music & a little entertainment!
Today is the last day submit a question for the coaches. Leave your question in the comments and stay tuned this week to our Facebook page for the video roundtable session. I’ll also be including it in an upcoming blog as well.
